We had such a great time at Joel & Jackson's birthday party! About 55 people joined us and it was a whole lot of fun with a touch of chaos. The boys are well loved, no doubt about it. However, in the future we might have to find a new location to hold it or offer a shuttle service to the house. Ha! All week it had been rainy, but I prayed & prayed that it would be sunny & dry on party day and God came through. The kids were able to play on the swingset outside, which kept them highly entertained. Rumor has it you could hear their gleeful screams from far down the street!
We had a delicious ice cream bar with all the fixings.
Originally we came up with the plan to do ice cream because Jackson wouldn't eat anything other than purees so cake seemed out of the question. But just a couple weeks before the party he decided overnight that solids weren't so bad after all. He went to town on the cupcake & cried when it was over!
