Sulphur Springs Visit

The day after Christmas we went to Sulphur Springs for a visit. It was good for the boys to see all of their aunts & uncles & cousins.

One afternoon we had lunch on the square with Grumps then walked around for a bit. When Joel saw the courthouse he said, "Look! A castle!" He was pretty impressed that Grumps gets to work in there sometimes.

We also went out to the Camp House to see the new improvements that have been made on it. The boys enjoyed ringing the dinner bell.

 

While there, we rode the 4-wheeler in the pasture, which Joel liked because it made him feel like Ryder from Paw Patrol. At first we took only Joel around, but Jackson was beside himself trying to get to us, so we let him ride, too. When we stopped, he screamed and thrashed. So we went around a couple more times. He lost it again when we stopped for real, but he eventually got over it. Those boys love adventure!
