We had been preparing Joel for many months about what it would be like to meet his new baby brother. We talked about it, read books about it, and practiced with baby dolls. The first time he met him was so sweet. Joel was eager to meet his new baby brother!
He was very gentle, giving him kisses & love pats, just like we practiced.
We had even prepped Joel that a photographer would be present so he wouldn't be shy. He was especially enamored with her because her name is Kat. It's possible he thought a real live kitty cat was coming to take his picture!
Joel & Honey made Jackson some birthday cupcakes for us to enjoy and they were delicious!
We sang happy birthday and blew out the candle! Happy birthday, Jackson!
