Claudius

We have some very special friends from church that have a Guide Dog named Claudius. Our friends Paul & Sue are so dear to me because they very generously volunteer their time at my school as participants in a program called BAK-PAK. Five students were nominated and chosen to read to Claudius as a means of increasing their confidence and reading fluency. So every Friday at school I get to spend time with the Phillips and Claudius. At one of our showers, they gave us the most adorable Claudius look-alike dog complete with Guide Dog harness. It's so cute! 

Toy Claudius was even there during my birth, serving as a therapy dog to help me through.

Joel was introduced to him when he was just a couple days old. 

Just like he was petting the toy Claudius, when he got to meet real Claudius, he reached right out to pet his head!
